Mid-Week Catchups

All financial members are invited to register to receive emails for a new event Tony Nelson has created for the club called Mid-Week Catch-Ups. These will happen in alternate months to Mid-Week Drives.

They will start later at 10 am, and Tony invites members to nominate their favorite cafe, club, garden centre, museum, etc., for us to catch-up at. Due to city traffic, we will all just meet directly at the venue.

We obviously need a venue with nearby parking and an inviting covered and comfortable atmosphere for up to 30 members to enjoy each other’s company.

The Mid-Week Catchups are run under the stewardship of AROCA (Qld) which allows AROCA financial members with Alfas registered under Queensland Transport’s concessional "Special Interest Vehicle" category to participate as long as they abide by all TMR rules.

It will be a Club Committee Sanctioned event noted in the Club Calendar.

Members living inside and outside of Brisbane will also have the opportunity, with Tony’s assistance, to create a local event that all members can attend.

Again, there is no expectation for you to join every event and there are probably only 5 events a year.

Even if you don’t currently have a favorite venue, we already have many places for you to discover where we can discuss Alfa Romeos and other topics so don't let that stop you from registering.
