50th Anniversary

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of AROCA Qld, and we kicked off celebrations with a car display at Ormiston House, an Anniversary Dinner in Brisbane (which included the official launch of the 50th Anniversary Commemorative book) and a BBQ at J.C. Slaughter Falls.

It's been a great opportunity for all members, old and new, to catch up and reminisce about our wonderful club.

50th Anniversary Book The first run of 100 copies has now SOLD OUT! A second run is possible but will need a minimum of 20 orders. We will contact you to confirm once the minimum of 20 orders has been reached and the second run is going ahead.

This attractive full-colour book covers the entire 50 years of our club, from its foundation in 1975 to the present day. Researched and written from over 500 editions of Per Sempre Alfa by founding member Laurie Jones, and beautifully designed by Wendy Edmonds, this illustrated history will appeal to all members.

Whether you are a long-term club member reliving fond memories, or recent Alfa owners interested in the club's beginnings and long traditions, this collectable book deserves a place in your Afa Romeo library.

Chapters are devoted to each of the five decades, with additional chapters addressing competition, innovation, Alfestas, and personal recollections of individual members. There are also complete lists of all the committee members over the years as well as all the trophy winners.

Cost of the book is $50. You can arrange to collect your order at a Club event or, alternatively you can choose to have your your order posted for an additional $10.
