Sun - Jun 18 - 2023 Lismore Turf Club, Lismore NSW | LisAmore! - This Italian themed day celebrates the contribution Italian migrants made to the area and Lismore’s sister-city relationship with Conegliano in Italy by showcasing ‘All things Italian’ in a fun, family-friendly way. After three years of postponements due to Covid, renovations and then devasting floods they are hoping to expand the Italian cars and bikes exhibition and would welcome AROCA members and their families to take a ride to their beautiful part of the country. If interested you might want to consider coming down for the whole weekend as there are a number of free workshops on the Saturday and a dinner with the QLD Ferrari Club on Saturday evening. You might also consider staying for a whole week as the following Saturday is the iconic Lismore Lantern Parade. Activities on the actual day (which runs from 10-3pm) will include Bocce, Italian music and dancing, children’s activities, language lessons, a tug-o-war and of course Italian food and wine. If interested, please contact the organiser Aliison Kelly (Festival Manager) directly on 0428 216 079 or aliison@internode.on.net. Places are limited so please do so ASAP to avoid disappointment. |
