2018 - Charity Mid-Week Drive

On 26th September, Mid-Week Drivers enjoyed a morning drive on mainly country roads to a private residence where the hosts Cynthia and Doug Earl supplied a great breakfast, including supporting strawberry farmers, to the assembled 32 members. As they would not take any payment for the breakfast, members who attended, plus some who could not come on the day, donated a total of $860 to be distributed to our struggling farmers in the Roma and Chinchilla areas by their local Rotary Clubs. After breakfast there was a garden tour by Cynthia and a shed tour by Doug. Some people were seen leaving with cuttings from the garden. Photos by Cheryl and Alan Leahy
